Buddleia Black Knight Buddleia davidii " Black Knight " Butterfly bushes are carefree deciduous shrubs that are reliably fragrant and easy to grow. Butterflies swarm to their blooms all summer long. The Black Knight is the darkest flowered of all the buddleias, almost a grape-violet, and always one of our most popular. They generally look their best in groupings of 3 to 5 plants. The blooms come from early summer to first frost. The foliage is soft, willow-like and grayish green. Great for use in flower gardens, flowering hedges, mass plantings, or as specimen plants.
